Compostable Packaging Disposal
How Can I Dispose of Planglow USA's Compostable Packaging?
We only supply packaging that is made from compostable, plant based materials and never oil based
plastics.
Why Compostables?
Packaging which contains traces of food cannot be recycled, neither can packaging made from mixed materials
(products such as card wedges with a plastic film would be challenging), whereas compostable packaging and
food
waste is a perfect combination. We recognize that an ideal solution for the disposal of food to go packaging
is
an ongoing goal that we are all striving for, and we do not encourage or support littering or landfill
disposal
of compostable packaging.
Most of our products are home compostable, so should they end up at a customer’s home they can be composted
along with the usual garden and vegetable peelings waste. This applies to the following Planglow USA
products.
• All film lined packaging (sandwich boxes, salad packs and wrap packs)
• Windowed bags

Customize Your Products
Expert In-House Design Studio
All of the packaging and labels featured on our website can be customized with your own branding by our
in-house
team of graphic designers.
There are many options available to you when designing your own products. Therefore your sales development
manager can discuss your specific requirements offering advice as to the best solutions available to you
while
remaining mindful of your individual needs and budget. This will include the best shape and construction for
your
product, the colors that work most effectively with your ethos and brand, as well as the materials available
to
you.
Our in-house design team - who work across the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, In-Design and
Animate) - will then develop your brief into a range of exciting new designs to help sell your products.
There are always 500 sheets of labels in a box but the number of labels you receive in total depends on
the size of the label and how many can fit on a sheet. (Check the fact files for details)
Will the labels come preprinted?
Labels come with just the label design; any over print (e.g. title, description, price etc) must be
added using our LabelLogic Live software.
Can I have labels with my logo on them?
Yes, you can have customized labels in any shape, size or color; however the minimum order is 10 boxes.
Alternatively, if you do not use this volume you can import your logo into LabelLogic Live and overprint
it yourself.
How do I print my labels?
In order to print our labels you will need a device (PC, Mac, Cell phone, tablet) a desktop printer and
a login to our LabelLogic Live software.
How do I get a access to LabelLogic Live?
Once you have purchased Planglow USA labels, we will contact you with your login details, you will be
asked to create your own password. We will then provide you with a tutorial to acquaint you with the
software’s many features.
Is there a charge for the software?
No, our label-printing application LabelLogic Live comes free on loan, however a minimum first time
order of $400 is required.
What type of printer can I use?
All of our sheet labels can be used with a laser printer; however some are not compatible with inkjet
printers – always check the order details.
Where can I find the Batch Number?
If you need to find the batch code or number printed on one of our baguette bag or sandwich / pastry bag
products, simply place the product front-side (windowed-side) up. Gently peel back the forward-folded
glued paper seam - the batch number is printed in the seam in the top left corner.
