Production Warehouse Associate/Raw Material Inventory Control

Position Summary:

The Production Warehouse Associate monitors press schedules and stages raw material for all flexo & digital roll to roll presses.  They also control the roll stock inventory while making it accessible for the printing presses.  This position is instrumental in protecting the roll stock inventory assets as well as dies, inks and cores of Dot It roll to roll manufacturing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Raw material (roll stock, cores, boxes & tooling) - Physically inspect, count, verify receiving paperwork, receive into production software and safely store
  • Raw material (ink) - Physically inspect, count, verify receiving paperwork, receive into accounting software and safely store
  • Label, protect, relocate and track roll stock raw material
  • FIFO control on roll stock raw material so adhesive does not expire
  • Stage roll stock by presses and unwrap for quick access by the press operator
  • Create and complete slit tickets for raw material
  • Relay schedule changes to press operators so job due dates are met
  • Suggest replacement raw materials when short or out of stock
  • Verify, count and ship all production jobs in manufacturing software - accurately and in a timely manner
  • Add or fix raw material costing on jobs when needed
  • Match raw material, die, core and box purchase orders with confirmations (and/or invoices) to be available to receive purchase orders into Label Traxx
  • Verify cost, edit PO price (with updated part cost) and quantity when necessary and receive all production purchase orders in Epicor accurately and timely
  • Maintain inventory while using shelf life or FIFO method
  • Physically count all roll stock inventory on the last working day of the month
  • Maintain Production Warehouse so it is clean, organized and safe for all employees
  • Work with the kitting department to get labels to their area by their need date
  • Support packaging and shipping departments when necessary or available
  • Be available to work with customers or supplies when necessary
  • Assist the Floor Leads on any task
  • Assist the Management Staff on special projects
  • Any other responsibilities, activities or requests by the Management Staff

 Position Summary The Accounting and Cost Control Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing financial aspects of manufacturing operations. This role requires a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, cost accounting principles, and the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights for business decision-making.  This position is responsible for accurate job costing, regular inventory review, budgeting, and production cost analysis. This role will work closely with the production team to assist with maintaining key financial metrics such as BHR rates and provide mentorship to the accounting team.

  • Track and analyze variances between actual and standard costs within ERP and job costing software
  • Collaborate with other departments to improve cost control measures and improve current procedures
  • Analyze production costs and prepare detailed cost reports

The Purchasing Agent position supports and helps maintain the purchase of all materials and supplies from fulfillment demand to manufacturing, as cost effectively as possible while maintaining inventory levels within Dot-It’s goal of being a single source brand partner who helps customers overcome everyday challenges.

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Mange inventory levels on an assigned group of items using Smart Software. 
  • Places purchase orders with vendors, confirms, and follows through to payment.
  • Contact suppliers to schedule or expedite deliveries and to resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries.
  • Maintain accurate purchasing records, by updating supplier price lists and vendor information as needed in Epicor.
  • Evaluates vendors based on cost, quality, and timeliness, using our vendor evaluation process. 
  • Initiate cost savings on current supplies by finding additional vendors who have better pricing.
  • Provide vendors and accounting with proper information regarding all “non-conformance” issues on purchase orders, such as pricing, quantity, etc.
  • Inform sales and production of availability and lead times of all products to ensure the customers’ needs will be met.
  • Help drive continuous improvement within the department.
  • Ability to use two systems (Label Trax and Epicor) to order stock and materials used in production and the warehouse.
  • Cross train with another agent, for full coverage of department during vacations.
  • Monitor POs to make sure they are delivered on time.
  • Process claims with vendor for non-conforming product.

  • Be able to assist in production control if needed.

Machine Operator

Position Summary:

The Machine Operator is responsible for keeping the machines up and running. Backup Machine operator. Perform other tasks as assigned.
