Job Description
Title: Facilities Maintenance Worker
Location: Ft. Worth, TX
Reports to: Maintenance Manager
Position Summary:
The Facilities Maintenance Worker is responsible for performing routine building maintenance tasks. Performing building maintenance tasks in one or more fields (e.g., carpentry; electrical; heating; ventilation; and air conditioning (HVAC); plumbing, etc.) Perform general cleaning. Perform other tasks as assigned.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, contractors, and service providers.
- Be the primary interface with the landlord for building services and maintenance.
- Perform minor repairs as necessary /directed.
- Perform minor electrical maintenance to include but not limited to replacement or repair of incandescent and fluorescent bulbs and tubes, fuses, minor appliances, and cords using appropriate hand power or specialty tools.
- Perform minor plumbing maintenance to include but not limited to repair of leaks in drains or unclogging of drains.
- Ability to perform HVAC responsibilities for the manufacturing facility. (e.g., filter changes, cleaning condensers and coils)
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of facilities for meetings, conferences events, etc.
- Handle recycling, trash material scheduling, and pickups.
- Move furniture, equipment, supplies, and tools on an incidental basis.
- Reconfigure, install, position, and remount modular offices and space (e.g., furniture, wall panels, work surfaces, lighting, file cabinets, etc.) using various hand power and specialty tools, dollies, or hand trucks.
- Maintain the warehouse so it is clean, organized, and safe for all employees.
- Help support the manufacturing maintenance team as needed or called upon.
- Other duties as assigned.
