Pizza Holidays to Plan For in 2021

Jan. 20 – National Cheese Lover’s Day – A pizza just isn’t a pizza without cheese. Celebrate your love for cheese by getting a slice of your favorite pizza pie with some extra cheese.

Feb. 9 – National Pizza Pie Day – Pizza is loved by all, so make sure to celebrate National Pizza Pie Day with your favorite pizza, whether its thin, pan, or deep-dish, you can’t go wrong.

March 14 – Pi Day – While Pi Day is in honor of the number 3.14, which is the measurement calculating the ratio of a circle’s circumference to its diameter, we also think it’s a good day to enjoy some pizza. Get yourself a round pizza pie and enjoy a slice while you try to figure out all the numbers in Pi

April 5 – National Deep Dish Pizza Day – Another popular food holiday, National Deep Dish Pizza Day celebrates the thick, cheesy and sauce covered pizza pie that is popular in Chicago. Whether you live in the Windy City or not, enjoy a deep-dish pizza on April 5.

May 21 – National Pizza Party Day – Who doesn’t love to throw a party? Well, why not have a party to celebrate how much we love pizza. Invite some friends and family over and order some of your favorite pizza pies and celebrate one of the best foods in the world.

June 4 – National Cheese Day – Cheese, which is made from the milk of cows, goats, sheep and buffalo, comes in a wide range of varieties. To celebrate National Cheese Day have some of your favorite melted onto a pizza. We are partial to mozzarella, but feel free to go crazy!

June 11 – Pizza Margherita Day – Some pizzas are simple but taste delicious. One of those is the classic margherita pizza, which consists of three ingredients – tomatoes, mozzarella cheese, and basil.

Sept. 5 – National Cheese Pizza Day – September 5th is the day to set those toppings aside and enjoy a classic plain cheese pizza. It is never a bad idea to appreciate a simple pizza pie covered in nothing but delicious, melty cheese.

Sept. 20 – National Pepperoni Pizza Day – Enjoy a pizza covered in pepperoni, one of the most classic and popular pizza toppings. This smoke and cured meat is a perfect topping for pizza.

October 1 – October 31 – National Pizza Month – A whole month dedicated to the joys of pizza!

Oct. 9 – International Beer and Pizza Day – People began celebrating the combination of pizza and beer in 2016, but this classic combination has existed as long as pizza has been around. Make sure you enjoy a slice or two of your favorite pizza and don’t forget to wash it down with an ice-cold beer.

Oct. 11 – National Sausage Pizza Day – Whether you like it with sweet, mild or hot, topping a pizza with sausage is sure to put a smile on anyone’s face. Celebrate this day by ordering yourself a delicious sausage pie.

Oct. 25 – World Pizza Makers Day – Celebrate this day by either ordering a handmade pizza pie from your favorite restaurant, or try your hand at tossing the dough at home. Making pizza is an art, and on October 25th, we celebrate those who create this amazing food.

Nov. 12 – National Pizza with the Works except Anchovies Day – Sorry anchovy pizza fans, this day is not for you. Celebrate your love for pizza and topping by ordering a pie with pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, peppers, onions, olives, bacon and any other topping you can think of. Just not anchovies!

Nov. 15 – International Cheese and Bread Day – You can consume cheese and bread in a lot of different ways, but can’t we agree that melted cheese on warm bread is the best. Celebrate cheese and bread day by grabbing a couple of slices of your favorite pizza.
